The fact is, Marquez’s routine has now been interrupted and he is going to have to draw out his plans. Sustaining fighting fitness is never easy, and once the exact date of the postponement is known the mighty Mexican can put his shoulder to the wheel once again.

But a postponement like this can offset many aspects of the training routine. Arguments now rage over the way this one will turn out. Some say that Marquez’s intelligence is going to be too much for Mayweather, and others say that the younger, faster Mayweather will destroy Marquez.
